Every participant will receive a Santa hat, beard, and a lightweight performance hoodie to wear while running. NEW for 2016! All finishers, 5K and Half Marathon, will receive a finisher medal! Come on out to experience the outrageous holiday decorations, festive music, and cookie and candy stations on the course!

Santa Hustle is proud to support the Glendale Fire Charities! Every day Glendale Firefighters risk their lives to help those in need while working 24 hour shifts; while off duty, last year, we made a difference in the community by volunteering over 8000 hours to support numerous local community causes including: Hope for Hunger Food Bank, Glendale Firefighters Annual Toy Drive, Glendale Firefighters Back to School Drive, neighborhood smoke detector and water safety walks, and donations of services, food and money to Glendale families in need. This year we have started a program to assist our local military Veterans in need, installed a pool fence, repaired an air conditioner unit for a Glendale family, donated thousands of dollars to support Valley Firefighters who have come down with cancer and provided financial support to families of our fallen police department brothers.
Santa Hustle will be collecting toys for the Glendale Firefighter’s Toy Drive! All toys donated go to children in need, so on event day please bring new toys to make a children’s Christmas! Boxes will be by the information booth on December 11.
Packet Pick-Up will be available on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. at Westgate Entertainment District (Water Dance Plaza). Please remember, you must bring your ticket confirmation.
Race day packet pick-up WILL BE AVAILABLE on Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 6:30 a.m.-7:45 a.m. at Westgate. PPU will close exactly at 7:45 a.m. so Santa says to come early and be prepared for long lines!

The Santa Hustle 5k and Half Marathon is an officially timed event using the disposable B-Tag timing system. Timing chips are attached directly to the back of your bib number and are to remain adhered for the duration of the event. In order to receive an accurate time, please confirm your bib is:
There will be timing clocks at each mile marker along the course and the start and finish lines. Results will be posted on-site, as soon as possible following the event and official results will be posted on our website within 24 hours.
All participants and spectators are strongly encouraged to use public transportation and carpool to the start and finish areas, as well as to locations along the course. If you drive, allow sufficient time for heavy traffic congestion and street closures due to the race.
The top three male & female finishers in each age group for the 5K and Half Marathon will receive a customized Santa Hustle medal. The top three overall male and female finishers will receive a Santa Hustle personalized award. Age groups are as follows: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over.
There will be no on site awards ceremony. All awards will be mailed out after the New Year.

Gear Check will be available for all participants at the race starting at 7:00 AM. Please use the provided tear off on your race bib and zip tie to use when you check your personal items. Any gear not picked up by 1:00 PM on race day will be transported to our main office in Palatine, IL. Items not claimed within 30 days will be donated to a local charity.
Strollers and walkers are allowed. Dogs are NOT allowed. Walkers need to start behind all the runners.

Since Santa Claus has many upfront costs, we have a strict and uniform policy of no refunds or exchanges, no person-to-person transfer, or no deferrals to a future year. We do understand that plans change, injuries happen, and various holiday festivities and situations arise, but, we feel it is most fair to apply a uniform policy to all, instead of a subjective line of who should receive a refund and who doesn’t. All purchases and sales are 100% final, no exceptions. The event will take place rain or shine and refunds will not be issued based on weather conditions.
