Toys for Tots: Please bring a new, unwrapped toy to the Santa Hustle® for Toys for Tots!

The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

Race Packet Pick-Up

COMING SOON! Packet pick-up will take place at the TBA on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Race day packet pick-up WILL BE AVAILABLE on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 7:30 a.m.-8:45 a.m. at Lucas Oil Stadium. PPU will close exactly at 8:45 a.m. so Santa says to come early and be prepared for long lines!

Timing and Bibs

The Santa Hustle® 5k and Half Marathon is an officially timed event using the disposable B-Tag timing system. Timing chips are attached directly to the back of your bib number and are to remain adhered for the duration of the event.

In order to receive an accurate time, please confirm your bib is:

  • Clearly visible on the front of the torso
  • Unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle)
  • Pinned in all four corners
  • Not covered (jackets, runner belts, water bottles, etc.)

There will be timing clocks at each mile marker along the course and the start and finish lines.

Results will be posted on-site, as soon as possible following the event and official results will be posted on our website within 24 hours.

Location & Parking

There will be NO parking at Lucas Oil Stadium as the event circles the entire lot and you will not be able to get in or out. There are 60,000 parking spaces within a 10 minute walk of Lucas Oil Stadium. Please arrive early and allow plenty of time to park. Roads will be closing at 8:45 a.m. you will want to arrive BEFORE then.

Awards

The top three Male & Female Finishers in each age group for the 5K and Half Marathon will receive a customized Santa Hustle medal. The top three overall Male and Female Finishers will receive a personalized award.

All awards will be mailed out after the New Year.

Age groups are as follows:
10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.

All 5K & Half Marathon Finishers will receive either this awesome half marathon or 5K  finisher’s medal!(COMING SOON!)

All Kids Race Finishers will receive a Santa Finisher’s Ribbon! (COMING SOON)

Awards will be handed out for the following categories:

  • Best Group Costumes
  • Best Individual Costume
Gear Check

Gear Check will be available for all participants at the race starting at 7:30 A.M. Please use the provided tear off on your race bib and zip tie to use when you check your personal items. Any gear not picked up by 1:00 P.M. on race day will be transported to our main office in Palatine, IL. Items not claimed within 30 days will be donated to a local charity.

Strollers, Walkers, and Dogs

Strollers and walkers are allowed. Strollers and Walkers need to start behind all the runners.

Although we love your fur babies, dogs or any animals are not allowed.  However, they can help cheer you on.

Refunds / Exchanges

Since Santa Claus has many upfront costs, we have a strict and uniform policy of no refunds or exchanges, no person-to-person transfer, or no deferrals to a future year. We do understand that plans change, injuries happen, and various holiday festivities and situations arise, but, we feel it is most fair to apply a uniform policy to all, instead of a subjective line of who should receive a refund and who doesn’t.  All purchases and sales are 100% final, no exceptions. Refunds will not be issued based on weather conditions. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
